dCS Bartók Launch Event with ATC SCM100SE
Saturday 13th April 2019 11:00 - 17:00
Well we are in for a real treat on Saturday 13th April, as we are joined by both dCS and ATC for the launch of the new Bartók streaming DAC and an exciting demonstration of the ATC SCM100SE.
We have been long time admirers of dCS and were delighted to be welcomed on board as a dealer last Autumn. The launch of their Bartók DAC has been one of the most anticipated releases we can recall, with pre-orders already double what had been anticipated. The exceptional reviews and feedback the Bartók has already received will only add to this demand.
The ATC SCM100SE is the perfect pairing to really give the DAC a thorough and enjoyable listening session. ATC have been one of our ‘go to’ speakers for many years now, as they get straight to heart of the music and give it to you as the artist intended. If you have yet to experience the larger ATC actives, then this is your prime opportunity!
The system we will be showing:
The all new dCS Bartók
We have all drooled over the idea of owning a dCS stack at home. dCS have been the pioneers of digital reproduction for the past 30 years, but the Bartók represent their first ‘affordable’ model that brings their cutting edge R & D within the reach of us mere mortals.
As a certified Roon endpoint, and pre-amplifier all in one, we have set this up as a minimalist system, connected straight into active loudspeakers.
dCS will be supporting us on the day, and on hand to answer all your technical questions.
Power & The Glory
ATC’s lead engineer Ben Lilly will be supporting us, as we showcase the phenomenal SCM100 SE (special edition) towers.
Known for their studio pedigree, ATC are found in the world’s most revered recording studios from London to L.A and beyond. The SE Towers are truly domestic friendly however, finished in a beautiful Piano lacquer or real wood veneer of your choosing.
It’s always very hard to characterise sound in words as it’s very subjective, but full scale, transparent and ‘just right’ are all words that spring to mind – indeed you are quite often shocked at the detail and textures you had previously missed even in familiar recordings.
Even if your preference is for analogue as a front end, these beautiful speakers are well worth popping in for a listen.
Complimentary drinks and sandwiches will be on offer as at all of our events.
Our local Delicatessen is Dorringtons, who have been supplying their wares since 1930 and I can personally guarantee that there selection is second to none!
Help us order in the food
The event will run all day, but we would be really grateful if you could indicate if you are planning on coming, and if you are bringing anyone.
Just complete the form and we shall look forward to seeing you on the day.
